The purpose of this letter is to serve as a Call for Candidates. In accordance with the governing documents for Canyon Creek HOA, the Annual Meeting of the membership is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Please mark your calendars for this important meeting and plan to attend.
At the meeting our neighbors will be electing three (3) directors to the Board to serve a two-year term expiring March 2020.
The current HOA Board would like to extend an invite to those interested in serving the next term. To be on the Board, one must be a homeowner of the association and in good standing on assessments.
An active HOA and Board are the lifeblood to preserving the quality, appearance, and home values of our neighborhood. The Board is a great way to serve the community and ensure the covenants are enforced. It is also a position that requires continuous time and effort by a board member.
The Board oversees the business of Canyon Creek in the collection and expenditure of association funds, selection of contractors, management of facilities, and adoption of policies for the day-to-day operations.
If interested, please submit your name and address to the Canyon Creek Board (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please do so by 27 February, 2018 so that your name is placed on the ballot.
In addition, the Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Architectural Review Committee, Amenities Committee, Greenbelt Committee, Landscape Committee, Event Committee, and Communications Committee. If you are interested in serving on any of the committees, there will be signup sheets available at the meeting.
