In case you missed it, your HOA Board of Directors has been working hard on the transformation of our old Canyon Creek bath house into the new clubhouse. While the general structure of the current building will be reused, our new facility will have an expanded and reorganized footprint to create additional exterior and air conditioned spaces to host birthday parties, exercises classes, book clubs meetings, sports game watch parties, HOA Board meetings, and whatever else can be imagined for the benefit and pleasure of our Canyon Creek community.

As our architect finalizes the construction plans and the City of Austin approves our construction permits we will be putting the project out for bid. As with many construction projects in a thriving city such as Austin, the permitting process with the City of Austin is taking longer than initially expected which will cause a delay in the start and end dates of the project. In spite of the delays, the project continues to make steady progress. While we had hoped to break ground this November, the best available information now gives us an updated start date of mid-January with a target completion date of late-May. Although the final stages of construction will overlap with the Spring opening of the pool, we expect that final construction will be confined to interior spaces and allow the pool opening to proceed on schedule.
